Identify and prospect potential sponsors aligned with the organization's goals and target audience.
Conduct market research to identify corporate sponsorship leads to understand sponsor needs and develop targeted sponsorship messaging.
Initiate contact with prospective sponsors, build relationships, and pitch sponsorship opportunities.
Create sponsorship proposals highlighting value proposition, benefits, activation strategies, and deliverables for each potential sponsor.
Negotiate sponsorship terms, draft and finalize sponsorship agreements, and monitor sponsorship deliverables.
Plan and implement promotional strategies to integrate sponsor branding into events, marketing materials, and communication channels.
Prepare detailed sponsorship reports for stakeholders, including key metrics and insights.
Conduct search to identify sources of government or private funding available.
Prepare funding application document to align funding requirements with organisations services and programs. Follow-through with all queries and completion of funding application.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with sponsors.
Able to apply strategic marketing and promotional practices relevant for the healthcare segment to develop effective sponsorship plans.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing sponsorship deals.
Experience and understanding of promotional strategies for different media and channels.
Strong project management skills to manage multiple sponsorships simultaneously.
Knowledge of the healthcare, mental health industry and youth culture.
Understanding of government funding sources and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Proven track record of sales, fund-raising and sponsorship marketing.
Contract, part-time, freelance basis leading to full-time position.
