About the company

I am working with a NASDAQ-listed leading online broker with international presence. They are growing rapidly and are looking to expand their team.

Responsibilities of the role

This role will be responsible for conducting research and analysis for the development of investment strategy and determination of asset allocation for US/global markets.

1. Insight into market dynamics and major investment trends.
2. Selection of various assets including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, derivatives, and structured deposits.
3. Building, reviewing, and rebalancing portfolios during US market hours.
4. Managing risk and monitoring performance while strictly following the client's risk profile.
5. Executing orders for managing funds in instruments such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, derivatives, and structured deposits.
6. Engaging with High Net Worth (HNW) clients, including those residing in Singapore, to: (i) Assess their investment goals and risk tolerance (ii) Explain investment strategies and the performance of portfolios managed by the discretionary portfolio management (DPM) team and funds.

Qualifications

1. At least 8-10 years of relevant fund management experience at private bank, asset management or fund house in portfolio management with proven track record.
2. Familiarity with portfolio management tools such as Bloomberg.
3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data to make informed investment decisions.
4. Strong risk management culture and adaptable to environment.
5. Written and spoken English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese stakeholders.
