Fund Management Associate

Our client is a venture capital and private equity firm that backs the next-generation of category leaders and shapes the future of consumption for the emerging middle class in South East Asia. They focus on investing in early-stage technology companies in key verticals such as Future of Food, Future of Retail, Future of Health and Wellness. As they are expanding their business, they are looking out for a Fund Management Associate to grow their team.

Location: Walking distance from Fort Canning MRT (Downtown Line)

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct fund management activities in relation to the VCC and to manage the investments and operations of the VCC in accordance with fund management activities.
2. Undertake such other duties in relation to the VCC.
3. Manage investment mandates authorised by clients based on clients' investment objectives and risk preferences.
4. Implement investment strategies within established investment risk management framework stipulated in the Investment Guidelines and evaluate the risks and performance of client portfolios.
5. Provide analytical support by analyzing portfolios, enhancing and developing research tools, procedures, and practices.
6. Support middle office operations and accounting system.
7. Other ad-hoc research tasks/projects as required.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or LCCI Higher Accounting equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of handling full set accounts experience.
3. Good analytical skills, meticulous & resourceful.
4. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
5. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
6. Able to plan, analyze and solve problems, conscientious and accurate.

Salary range: $4,500-$6,800 basic
