Position: React Native Developer (Mobile App Wizard)

We are seeking a React Native Developer to join our fast-paced engineering team, building high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. As a key player in our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our product from the ground up. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, performant, and beautiful mobile applications, all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative smart home experiences to life.

What You’ll Do

• Build beautiful, pixel-perfect UIs: Create smooth, seamless user experiences on both iOS and Android, ensuring flawless design consistency across platforms.

• Leverage native platform capabilities: Integrate deeply with iOS and Android's native APIs to create performant, native-like applications.

• Optimize app performance: Diagnose and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks, ensuring the app performs like a true native application.

• Code with quality in mind: Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Write automated tests and follow best practices to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Who You Are

• Knowledgeable in JavaScript & TypeScript: You are proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern ES6+ syntax, and can write clean, maintainable code.

• Experience with React Native: You have hands-on experience developing mobile applications using React Native, and you're excited to bring your expertise to a new, growing team.

• Functional programming knowledge: You understand functional programming paradigms and can apply them to build efficient and robust mobile applications.

• Debugging pro: You're skilled at resolving issues with third-party dependencies and debugging conflicts to ensure smooth app performance.

• Familiar with native build tools: Whether it's XCode, Gradle, or any other IDE you're comfortable working with and have experience configuring mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms.

• API Savvy: You understand RESTful APIs, offline storage, and data management, and can integrate them seamlessly into mobile applications.

Bonus Points For

• Experience working with Go or backend technologies

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment processes

• A strong passion for smart home technologies and IoT devices
