Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers in a courteous manner to ensure a positive customer experience
Gain product knowledge so as to promote sales and assist customers
Operating the POS cash register, handling various types of payments and packing for customer purchases
Maintain the inventory of the Retail section by ensuring stocks are never depleted, orders are on time, deliveries are thoroughly checked and stock damages and discrepancies are reported to Manager in charge immediately
Stacking, displaying, and replenishing products on shelves, monitoring the expiration dates and shelf lives of products
Maintain neat and systematic storage of products and perform daily housekeeping
Practice good hygiene standards in housekeeping and comply with workplace safety requirements
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to carry out any other duties when required by superior.
Requirements:
Singaporean with at least a GCE 'O' level certificate or Nitec in Retail Services
Good communication with a positive mindset
Ability to read and understand product labels
Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
Team player with a desire to learn
1-2 years of relevant working experience in retail sales or having experience in hospitality or customer service industry
