Your day to day

voco Orchard Singapore is seeking a dynamic and passionate Front Office Executive to be part of our team. As Front Office Executive, you provide warm hospitality by delivering consistent quality service to all guests at all times and ensure that our Guests enjoy an exceptional experience from check-in through check-out. On top of that, you will be required to support the Club Lounge, which includes serving the guests and clearing all soiled cutleries, setting up the lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail periods, and topping up food items when they are running low.

People

  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
  • Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposits, and counting/securing assigned bank.
  • Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes.
  • Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.

Guest Experience

  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.

Responsible Business

  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

What we need from you

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel operations.
  • Fresh graduates with a hospitality qualification are welcome to apply!
  • Proficiency in Opera Property Management System will be an added advantage.
  • Must speak fluent English. Proficiency in another language will be advantageous.
