FP&A Manager (US Tech MNC/ UP 11k)

The Opportunity

• Adecco is partnering with our client, a well-known US Tech MNC. We are in search of an FP&A Manager.
• We are looking for individuals who are experienced in FP&A, great with data, and have the ability to confidently communicate with multiple stakeholders, including senior stakeholders.
• The role will start out as a 7-month contract position (renewable).
• Applicants who are immediately available or able to start work within a short notice will be preferred.

The Talent

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Ideally, 6+ years of relevant experience in a large multinational corporate environment is preferred.
• Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, including the ability to comfortably communicate with senior management.
• High-level of integrity, self-confidence, demonstrated change management, and support for a diverse and inclusive culture.
• Motivated self-starter who can clearly identify and articulate financial results and variance analysis to management.
• Experience working with large volumes of data and able to simplify that for presentation to management, explaining variances clearly.
• Good presentation skills and able to communicate with clarity and conciseness.
• Tools/Systems: Excel, PowerBI, Power Pivot.

Job Description Summary

• This role will support the ASEAN Financial Controller in managing the month-end close and forecasting and budgeting cycles.
• This individual must be a self-starter, problem solver, and able to communicate with clarity.
• Skills required for success in this role include strong proficiency in Excel (such as Power Pivot), strong analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting.
• To be successful in this role, this individual must be able to collaborate across multiple groups and quickly navigate numerous systems and processes.

Lead Month End Close Process

• Analyze the P&L and follow up with stakeholders to ensure all accrual entries are accurately stated and completed.
• Summarize and present month-end P&L results, including variance analysis to management.
• Collaborate with the outsourcing team to ensure the month-end close process is completed timely and accurately.

Lead Forecasting and Budgeting Process

• Leverage the Asia Forecasting and Budgeting models for ASEAN.
• Partner with stakeholders to gain insights and achieve forecast and budget accuracy.
• Summarize and present monthly forecast and annual budget numbers, including variance analysis to management.

Systems, Tools and Processes

• A deep understanding of the relevant systems, tools, and processes is necessary to effectively perform job functions.
• Identify and drive improvements in processes, support new business programs by leveraging innovative technology solutions, and work with policy owners to drive program improvements and compliance.
