FP&A Lead/Assistant Lead, Regional Business Intelligence & Planning

Job Description

1. Part of the team that owns the preparation of Shopee management reports, short and long-term regional financial forecasts.
2. Act as a country PIC who partners closely with local FP&A team to produce the most up-to-date insights into country’s actual performance, prepare monthly and quarterly forecast, prepare variance analysis between actual and forecast and drive forecasting accuracy.
3. Perform regional consolidation for Actuals, Forecast and draw insights for senior management’s decision making.
4. Automate and improve the efficiency of different FP&A processes.
5. Define key performance metrics for the organization, align with different groups of stakeholders, and implement the change.
6. Manage end-to-end special projects (e.g. problem definition, hypothesis testing) and implement change.
7. Mentor/manage junior team members.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree and above in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
2. 7 - 10 years of relevant experiences in FP&A or related disciplines.
3. Exposure to e-Commerce, FMCG, consumer technology is preferred.
4. Strong attention to detail, hands-on, organised, able to multitask effectively and deliver consistently good quality work.
5. Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
6. Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic and team-oriented environment.
7. Be able to drive projects end-to-end from defining problem, solutioning, managing stakeholders, implementing and tracking.
8. Knowledge of programming languages (i.e. SQL and Python) is advantageous.
9. Critical thinker and good problem-solving skills.
10. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
11. People management experience is a plus.
