What is the role?

We are seeking a Founder in Residence (FIR) with a strong background in:

• Alternative Data Analytics: Expertise in leveraging non-traditional data sources to assess creditworthiness, with experience in fintech or data-driven environments.
• Financial Services Innovation: Proven track record in developing and implementing inclusive financial solutions that address the needs of underserved populations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with consumer protection laws and data privacy regulations, ensuring ethical practices in credit scoring.
• The EIR will focus on developing personalized credit scoring models that utilize alternative data to enhance access to credit. This role is pivotal in addressing the growing demand for inclusive financial services and navigating the complexities of the evolving regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development of a platform that aggregates alternative data sources to create accurate credit scores for individuals with limited traditional credit history.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to validate the feasibility and desirability of new credit scoring models, including hypothesis testing and business model validation.
• Drive the go-to-market strategy for personalized credit scoring solutions, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation and ethical data practices within the organization.
• Engage with financial institutions and regulatory bodies to promote the adoption of alternative data in credit assessments.
