As an AML Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the bank's adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a robust AML assurance and quality control program.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and oversee a comprehensive AML assurance and quality control program to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
2. Conduct regular AML reviews and monitor progress of remediation initiatives.
3. Leverage data analytics and innovative testing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs associated with compliance activities.
4. Provide periodic updates on assurance review progress to team leadership and stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the overall control environment and promote sustainable growth.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience in wholesale banking audit, AML audit, or compliance assurance.
3. Strong understanding of AML regulations, governance, processes, and controls within the banking, payment services, and fintech industries.
4. Excellent negotiation skills and a proactive approach to communication.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
7. Mandarin language skills are a plus but not required.
