The FP&A Manager will be an essential business partner to department heads, providing accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will need to be able to translate financial data into actionable insights for both the executive leadership and the operational teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Financial Analysis, Reporting and Budgeting:
- Work closely with department heads to build and manage the company’s annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
- Analyze financial statements, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Track, analyze, and report on departmental and cost center actual vs forecast results, providing more insights into project and client profitability on a monthly basis.
- Prepare clear, visually engaging financial reports and presentations for town halls, executive leadership, and investors, translating complex data into compelling narratives.
- Develop and automate financial and operational dashboards/reports using Power BI to streamline and enhance data visibility.
- Collaborate with departments to customize reporting processes that support strategic business needs. Prepare ad-hoc business performance reports, scenario analysis, and financial analyses as needed to support decision-making.
Process Improvement & Systems Management:
- Work with the regional Financial Accountants and/or Controllers to assess and improve data integrity in NetSuite, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting across systems.
- Own the administration and maintenance of the stock options procedure/system, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Power BI and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights in a visually compelling way.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Takes initiative and proactively addresses potential challenges and proposes effective solutions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic start-up environment and able to adapt to changing priorities and processes.
- Flexible with working hours and able to accommodate global time zones, including taking calls and meetings during US/EU time zones.
- Experience with stock option systems.
- Fluency in English is a requirement.
