Financial Manager (SC/SPR)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform full set of accounts and ensure in compliance with respective accounting standards.
• Responsible for financial and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal control requirements including financial and operational policies and procedure.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and coordinate submission of tax returns, where applicable, with an external consultant.
• Oversee and manage the Finance Team to ensure smooth flow and timeliness of financial operations.
• Develop budgets, financial forecasts and variance analysis to support planning and resource allocation.
• Examine financial data by conducting comprehensive analysis of financial statement, cashflow status, and project performance, etc.
• Strategic partner with top management and HODs to align financial goals with company objectives.
• Assist in Ad-hoc requirements from Senior Management in Malaysia start-up business.

Job Requirements:

• At least 8 years of working experience in accounting/finance, strong knowledge in both Singapore and Malaysia.
• Must have working experience from Construction and Chinese Healthcare / Life Science Industry.
• Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
• In-depth understanding of accounting standard (SFRS), project accounting and familiarity with financial and management reporting.
• Strong knowledge on taxation for both Singapore and Malaysia is preferable.
• Strong business insight with ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in managing finance operation and ERP system procedures.
• Expertise in financial planning, risk management and internal controls.
• Experience with investment strategies, cash management, etc.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
