Job description

Our client is one of the Top Global Software Vendors. They are seeking a brilliant candidate with experience in Accounting and Finance, based in Singapore covering ASEAN countries and Australia.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of Financial Analysts for month-end closing and analyze potential impacts of current and proposed financial plans for ASEAN countries and Australia.
2. Provide timely and thorough analysis of budgets, cash flow, operating results, and business plans to determine rates of return, capital or cash flow requirements, etc.
3. Identify, analyze, and drive implementation of cost-reduction and cost-effectiveness opportunities.
4. Handle special project and analysis requests such as acquisitions, new business ventures, organizational changes, etc.
5. Present financial analysis results to senior management and make recommendations for enhancing the company’s profitability.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with solid accounting and financial analysis skills.
2. Strong Accounting background with CPA or ACCA qualification is required.
3. Around 4 years of experience in an Audit Firm plus 2 years in a commercial entity would be highly preferable.
4. Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented; must be able to perform month-end closing.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a small team.
6. Positive attitude, stability, persistence, endurance, and ability to face challenges.
7. Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English; ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred.
