Financial Lines Underwriter

Job Description

• Support the operation of Financial Lines Department to help achieve the planned objectives of the company
• Support in product and distribution platform development and enhancements of Financial Lines products including Cyber Insurance, by providing user requirements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and testing
• Support the handling of underwriting referrals for complex risks referred by Business Units
• Support business development activities of Financial Lines including quotations, risk acceptance, and business inception and renewals
• Assist to develop and maintain the Risk Acceptance Guide for Financial Lines in accordance with Company underwriting philosophy and changing business landscape
• Generate management reports
• Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

• At least 3 to 5 years relevant underwriting experience in an equivalent position
• Sound underwriting knowledge of various classes of financial lines insurance
