Financial Controller (Mfg-Costing)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Manages and directs staff of accountants and analysts to conduct all routine procedures and duties associated with the plant controller organization.
2. Provides advice and counsel to plant operations management to ensure the optimum performance of the plant. Interprets financial data collection to influence management toward decisions consistent with company objectives.
3. Set up and monitor systems of internal control consistent with direction provided by the Division controller and Manager of Tax & Treasury.
4. Monitors plant credits and collections. Supervises plant cash management including collections and forecasting balances over time.
5. Prepares financial projections and company status reports to divisional and corporate management as required. Coordinates discussions with Division management on financial matters.
6. Identifies and implements programs that control the corporation's financial risk, including implementation of programs established by the Division Controller and Tax & Treasury Manager.
7. Develops and implements systems to control the manufacturing operation costs and maintain systems to monitor product lines and customer profitability.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronics Manufacturing industry is preferred.
3. Experience in Management Accounting and Costing
4. Proficient in MS Office applications and Oracle.
5. Competent financial capabilities.
6. Hands-on with strong analytical skills.
