Description
- Oversee accounting and financial management for all F&B outlets, self-managed hotel properties, and a management services entity.
- Manage the daily operations of F&B outlets and self-managed hotel properties, ensuring smooth processes and adherence to accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance on accounting procedures, best practices, and fostering the growth of the finance function within F&B and hotel entities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure the fair and consistent administration of company policies.
- Prepare and review annual budgets, forecasts, and operating results, monitoring variances and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce idle cash, and ensure sufficient operational funding.
- Assist with cost control efforts by analyzing departmental expenses and identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and filing deadlines for all F&B entities, self-managed hotel properties, and the management services entity.
- Support the establishment and stabilization of the Internal Audit and Procurement functions.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA or equivalent would be highly beneficial).
- At least 10 years of experience in finance, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the hotel and F&B sectors.
- Proven leadership and management skills with experience overseeing large finance and operational teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong understanding of financial principles, reporting standards, and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and build lasting relationships with top-stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle Netsuite, Opera Cloud, various POS systems, and Microsoft Excel.
