Financial Controller

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Finance Controller our Group of F&B Companies. This role oversees the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries, managing reporting, compliance, cash flow, and audits. It ensures the preparation of accurate financial statements, supports banking and credit processes, and provides analysis for Managing Director. The ideal candidate should hold ACCA or CA certifications and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Managing Director.

• Oversee and coordinate work within the Finance Department, ensuring proper recording, control and compliance.

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and financial reports.

• Review and analyse group’s monthly financial reports.

• Prepare group’s annual financial reports and budget forecasts.

• Prepare group’s monthly and quarterly consolidation packages and ensure deadlines are met.

• Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, tax agents and bankers.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to facilitate timely payments.

• Provide support to relevant teams, including operations, credit, and HR.

• Develop ad-hoc analyses and reports for leadership as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Directors.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications such as ACCA or CA are highly desirable.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years at a managerial level.

• Knowledge of international accounting standards

• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and mentor a finance team.

• Proficiency in English.
