As we embark on a journey of growth and expansion, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Controller to join our team and contribute to our success. This role will be reporting to the Finance team (US) responsible for Group-level accounting and financial reporting.

What You Will Do

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and trial balances.
2. Manage Quarterly MAS Filings and other relevant submissions.
3. Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and practices.
4. Assist in Group accounting activities including setting up of financial processes/controls, forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, and settlement.
5. Provide daily operational support internally to the finance team and other stakeholders.
6. Treasury operations including FX and account opening.
7. Liaise with auditors, bankers, and government affiliated entities as required.
8. Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes to facilitate solving issues accurately and efficiently.
9. Manage tax compliance including GST and corporate tax filings.

Who You Are

1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or finance.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
3. Good knowledge of local accounting GAAP/Singapore Financial Reporting Standards particularly for companies in the financial services space.
4. Experience with the Quickbooks software would be an advantage.
5. Experience with a MAS Capital Market Services Licensed entity would be preferred.
6. Excellent interpersonal and engagement skills to collaborate effectively and respectfully with stakeholders and peers.
7. Be highly motivated, intellectually curious and an independent thinker who is able to articulate ideas and communicates well verbally and in writing.
8. Based in Singapore and have a work authorization.
