Financial Analyst (MNC, Kaki Bukit, up to $5500)
Job Description:

- Report to: Finance Director, NSEA
Key Responsibilities
- Key business partner to Finance Director in leading planning cycles, forecast & closing to help define priorities for the business.
- Lead financial activities for monthly and quarterly closing and provide strong analytics for forecast, Plan setting.
- Analyze variances from plan, forecasts and prior periods to expose business/financial improvement opportunities in areas such as order booking/shipment/backlog, price increases, channel changes (distributor versus direct), currency fluctuation impacts and exposures, operating expenses, working capital, etc.
- Regularly provide leadership team with daily dashboards and reports publishing.
- Support leadership team in risk and opportunities management by clearly linking financial results to operational drivers.
- Development and modeling of analysis which provides root cause of variances.
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and variance reports as required, making extensive use of PC tools such as OneStream, Business Intelligence (BI) and Excel.
- Lead and assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification and implementation of financial systems as necessary.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Min 5 years of Financial Analyst experience in a fast-paced organization.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience working in a global environment with sound understanding of global processes and transaction flows.
- Use of financial reporting tools such as OneStream, Oracle, BI, and Microsoft Excel to improve productivity in providing informative, timely, and accurate financial presentations.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems/tools in order to improve financial modeling, reporting, and presentations.
- Proficiency in quickly and accurately modeling/presenting financial data in a manner that communicates valuable information to management.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to recognize big picture issues.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
- Experience in process improvements with quantifiable results to measure effectiveness.
