Financial Analyst Assistant Manager

As a key player in our finance team, you will report to the Manager (Accounts) and take charge of costing, pricing reviews, and financial analysis. You will also support the organization’s annual forecasting, budgeting processes, and claims submissions to relevant ministries and funding agencies.

A deep understanding of the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) subvention and subsidy policies, as well as the National Costing Guidelines, is essential, as these influence service costing and funding allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct costing and pricing reviews for patient services, including national costing systemization.
• Maintain service prices and subsidy rules within the organization’s financial and billing systems.
• Perform financial analysis of departmental and organizational profit and loss statements.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Financial Performance Reports to MOH.
• Generate and disseminate monthly profit and loss statements to departments.
• Support the annual forecasting and budgeting process.
• Provide financial guidance for clinical and operational projects, including capital investments.
• Ensure timely submission of funding claims to MOH and other relevant agencies.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 6 years of experience in accounting and financial planning.
• Experience with SAP and/or working in healthcare or government-related organizations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Meticulous, organized, with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
