Our client is an established global company in the marine and offshore industry, who is looking to start up a new corporate office in Singapore.
Reporting to the CFO directly, you will be part of the pioneer team for the Singapore office and will have opportunities to liaise and coordinate with global finance teams.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the full spectrum of general accounting and record of financial transactions.
Prepare and perform consolidation of accounts.
Ensure timely delivery of financial and management reporting of group consolidation, cash flow, budget, and forecast.
Oversee the preparation of key financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Oversee the full controllership ensuring accordance with FRS and financial policies. Oversee yearly financial audits to ensure all local tax filings are completed correctly.
Responsible for financial and statutory reporting to ensure timely monthly closing and compliance with corporate governance and local regulations.
Partner and coordinate closely with global finance counterparts to prepare cash projections, financial and operational reports for insights to senior management.
Set up and maintain internal controls and processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, with Chartered Accountant Certifications.
At least 3 to 5 years of finance experience, with prior experience in consolidation of accounts and knowledge of local tax regulations.
Excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, and able to interact with stakeholders across different levels.
Dynamic and adaptable to work in a newly setup environment.
Ability to work independently with regional and global counterparts.
