Finance & Trade Finance Executive, Oil Trading Company

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support company financial decision-making.
• Assist in handling trade finance-related operations such as letters of credit and guarantees, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Communicate with banks, suppliers, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of trade finance operations.
• Assist in managing company cash flow to ensure the security and efficiency of the capital chain.
• Ensure financial activities comply with international accounting standards and local Singapore regulations.
• Proficient in operating commodity trading systems, financial software, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and other departments to support overall business development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in trade finance or energy industry.
• Familiar with international accounting standards and relevant financial management regulations.
• Proficient in financial software, commodity trading systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, capable of handling financial documents in both languages.
• Candidates with professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred.
• Possess strong professional ethics, teamwork spirit, and stress tolerance, with the ability to adapt to an international work environment.
