Finance & Tax Lead

• Monitor and ensure compliance of finance and accounting operations and taxation in accordance with accounting standards and tax laws.
• Maintain proper financial controls and documentation for audit trail.
• Coordinate the performance of internal audit and Enterprise Risk Management through an outsourced service provider.
• Prepare annual budget and compare to actual results with a view to identifying, explaining and correcting variances as appropriate.
• Provide insightful information to management team to aid in long-term and short-term commercial decision making.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for management, board and audit committee meetings.
• Advise HQ finance regarding local laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts/Finance is preferred.
• Leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; great team player.
• High degree of personal initiative, flexibility and ability to work well under deadlines and without supervision.
• Fluent Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal to liaise with Headquarters in China.

Our client needs someone independent, confident, and proactive from the F&B industry to liaise with China HQ to propose and implement solutions. A challenging part is the understanding of Taxation issues in Singapore. They can consider Senior Executive if they have these attributes.
