Finance Senior Manager/Manager

The successful candidate will report to the GM of an Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Charging Company located in Singapore. In this role, you will be in charge of the full spectrum of the accounting, financial business partnering and management functions. You can expect close interaction with senior management and the Board of Directors to drive business performance in an emerging and dynamic industry.

Financial Accounting

1. Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable & Receivable, billing and collections, cash and bank management, statutory accounts closing, and taxation (e.g. GST, income tax, etc.) matters.
2. Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and completion of audited financial statements and tax submissions.
3. Ensure compliance with financial policies & procedures, statutory & corporate governance requirements and audits, as required.
4. Liaise with auditors and tax agents as needed.
5. Undertake any other finance and accounting related duties as required.

Financial Analysis & Planning

1. Responsible for monthly management reporting (including profitability analysis) to management and shareholders.
2. Responsible for monthly reporting pack to the Finance department of the shareholders.
3. Lead and execute the budgeting and forecasting process.
4. Review and monitor monthly financial and non-financial metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
5. Present to the Board of Directors during Board meetings on finance related agenda.

Finance Operations

1. Develop cash flow forecast and ensure sufficient working capital.
2. Cash management and secure funding when needed.
3. Support the troubleshooting of customer payment issues.
4. Lead the accounting process and accounting system set-up and enhancement, as required.

Business Partnering

1. Provide cross-functional finance advisory and support to the business.
2. Partner with the commercial team to develop financial models for new business opportunities.
3. Respond to Shareholders and Board of Directors’ queries.

Requirements

1. Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or CA Singapore.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
3. Self-starter with a growth mindset, who is able to operate independently in a dynamic environment.
4. Energetic and resourceful multi-tasker with strong planning and problem-solving ability.
5. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
6. Strong leadership skills.
