Finance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Finance Officer to join us. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and has a solid foundation in cash management, accounting, and tax. The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company and will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires in-depth collaboration with the finance team in China to jointly complete financial tasks and operations below:

1. Cash Management

1. Assist in managing cash inflows and outflows, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
2. Help in the reconciliation of bank accounts and cash balances.
3. Support in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and reports.

2. Accounting

1. Support the accounting team in the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
2. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reporting tasks.
3. Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with accounting principles.

3. Tax

1. Help in the collection and organization of tax-related documents.
2. Assist in the preparation of tax computations and schedules.
3. Support the tax team in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

4. Financial Reporting and Analysis

1. Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports and analysis for internal use.
2. Support the budgeting and forecasting process under the guidance of senior team members.

5. Internal Controls

1. Assist in the maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting.
2. Participate in the review and testing of internal controls.

6. General Finance Support

1. Provide support in various ad hoc financial projects as required.
2. Assist with the filing and organization of financial documents.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor/Diploma's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
7. Relevant work experience in finance or accounting.
