Founded in 2018, our client started with a vision to bridge the gap between traditional finance and the evolving ecosystem, and to date have 4 products available in the market. As part of their global expansion, they are looking for a Finance Manager, remotely based in Singapore to join their team.

Description

• Draft and implement group accounting policies to ensure consistency across financial practices.
• Establish and implement internal control processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Oversee financial and accounting functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of both entity and consolidated financial reports, adhering to regulatory and reporting standards.
• Manage cash flow planning to ensure operational funds are available as needed.
• Prepare and review financial budgets and forecasts to support organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
• Support the preparation of materials for board and management meetings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and legal counsel to meet statutory requirements and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate recording of all costs incurred.
• Manage the claims process for reimbursements and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor changes in regulations (e.g., MOM) and update management on relevant changes.
• Maintain proper financial controls and documentation to ensure transparency and an auditable trail.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in audit and/or finance functions, with strong accounting expertise.
• Self-starter with the ability to build and enhance financial functions and processes.
• Knowledge of digital assets is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is more important.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while delivering high-quality results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment, while supporting and guiding the team.
• Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and attention to detail.
• Proactive, quick learner, and able to meet deadlines.
