Finance Manager - Tech Start-up

Company Description

Our client is a start-up in the Technology space, providing a platform to house various systems under one space to provide ultimate convenience for their users. Due to business needs, they are now looking for a Finance Manager in Singapore.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly and annual financial statements for the group.
2. Provide insightful financial analysis to the Leadership team, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for potential improvement.
3. Review and improve internal financial controls, procedures, and policies to safeguard the group’s assets and ensure accuracy in reporting.
4. Oversee the group’s cash flow management, ensuring liquidity to meet both operational and investment needs.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Accountancy or relevant qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.)
2. At least 7-9 years of experience in a full spectrum finance role, ideally from a startup environment.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
4. Ability to work independently and manage a small team.
5. Strong interpersonal skills.
6. A proactive approach to improving processes, driving efficiencies, and managing risk.
