Job Description:

Responsibilities

1. Manage a team of finance staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of accounts.
2. Analyse and interpret financial data to provide management information on cost allocation and controls, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis.
3. Review investment portfolio Equities, Bonds and Fixed Deposit.
4. Present Financial Report to the ExCo and Board members.
5. Establish and maintain accounting practices and internal controls to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
6. Responsible for providing financial system requirements for all interfaces and new system.
7. Involve in the development and implementation of new accounting systems to improve business financial reporting.
8. Participate in cross-functional projects and other ad-hoc projects.
9. Liaise with external auditors during interim and annual audit.
10. Check and approve GST returns.

Requirements

1. Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
2. At least 5 to 7 years' experience, preferably with 3 years of experience in managerial position.
3. Possess a high level of financial literacy and modelling.
4. Knowledgeable in financial management reporting, analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management.
5. Sound knowledge of accounting systems and audit experience.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Meticulous, pro-active and results oriented.
8. Good presentation, communications and interpersonal skills.
