Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager

Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Finance professional to oversee accounting and finance operations for their multinational business. With strong analytical expertise and in-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, this role will also involve managing both internal and external audits.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
2. Perform variance analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. Oversee accounting operations (AP/AR, month-end/year-end closings), ensuring the integrity of financial records.
4. Implement internal controls and build relationships with auditors.
5. Ensure compliance with local regulations and manage financial operations across multiple countries.
6. Consolidate financial results from international subsidiaries and manage foreign exchange exposure.
7. Serve as the main point of contact for finance-related matters with stakeholders.
8. Work closely with departments to provide financial insights and lead a high-performing team.
9. Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting across various jurisdictions.
10. Collaborate with external advisors to optimize tax efficiency and stay on top of regulatory changes.
11. Lead internal and external audits, strengthening controls and addressing audit findings.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. 10 years of regional finance/accounting experience
3. 5 years Leadership/People Management experience.
4. Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
5. Strong IFRS knowledge, manufacturing cost accounting and experience in consolidating international subsidiaries.
6. Preferred M&A integration and regulatory compliance experience.
7. Proficient in SAP
8. Fluent in English. Mandarin preferred to communicate with counterparts in China
9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
10. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
11. Willing to travel internationally.
