Finance Manager [Project Management/ Up to $10,000]

Our client acts as the established and reputable financial center for its group companies across the APAC region. Currently seeking a candidate with strong communication and project management skills to handle Finance-related business transformation duties.

Responsibilities

The key duties of this role include planning and executing strategies to enhance and optimize financial transaction processes in the AP region, developing innovative trade finance solutions to support business activities, and advancing the ALM system.

1. Plan and implement measures to streamline and strengthen financial transaction processes.
2. Standardize and consolidate payment and Letter of Credit (L/C) procedures for subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific (AP) region.
3. Implement a unified system for foreign exchange operations in the AP region to enhance efficiency, propose improvements in cash management, and introduce advanced ALM reporting via digital transformation.
4. Provide financial expertise to support business investments and trade in the AP region.
5. Assist in due diligence for business investments, ensuring proper financial checks and balances as part of the corporate division.
6. Offer financial guidance during post-merger integration (PMI) and advise underperforming companies.
7. Collaborate with trade finance teams to develop and propose innovative trade finance schemes and advanced ALM systems as the AP region's financial center.

Requirements

1. About 5 - 8 years of treasury experience coming from Banks or Treasury centers
2. Strong knowledge of Derivatives in particular FX, Cash management and Trade Finance
3. Proven track record of and experience in project management
4. Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office
5. Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or the equivalent
6. It is highly advantageous to possess overseas working exposure
