Finance Manager (Operational) | Islandwide Transport Provided

Position Summary:
This position is for a leading marine & offshore service provider company located at Tuas.
The Finance Manager is to oversee and manage the financial aspects of the operational activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing the daily operations at Tuas, ensuring alignment with Company's objectives, policies and budgets.
2. Ensure targeted daily sales outstanding is met.
3. Perform credit risk analysis on customers.
4. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures across operations.
5. Lead initiatives to optimize financial processes esp on AP and Payment.
6. Manage SG group cashflow, ensuring enough liquidity to meet the operation needs while managing financial and interest risks.
7. Oversee costing function to ensure accuracy in reports, delta costs are promptly cleared and analyze unusual CM.
8. Partner with other departments to develop financial strategies that align with overall business goals.
9. Identify financial risks associated with operational functions and mitigate them.
10. Work with FPA and GL team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
11. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks.
12. Other ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or its equivalent.
2. Min 5 years of finance or accounting experience, at least 3 years in operational finance role.
3. Experience in leading a team of at least 5 staff.
4. Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills preferred.
