Job Descriptions
Involved in Company's growth strategies, formulating strategies and plans, optimizing the company's financial performance and strategic position, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting to support business development.
Oversee Accounting operations to ensure monthly financial statements are prepared timely and accurately in compliance with regulatory and internal management reporting requirements; Responsible to review the annual tax computation-s and queries, deferred tax projections and provisions. Ensure the company is compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and reporting requirements. Drive for timely submissions and follow up.
Manage group Treasury activities including cash forecasting, cash and portfolio investments, foreign exchange, intercompany lending and loan administration. Assisting in the assessment of overall treasury risk around cash management, settlement, banking systems, funding processes; develop and implement strategy to mitigate risks and improve investment returns on cash and efficiency.
Responsible for the FP&A business cycle including providing up-to-date analysis in key performance indicators in areas of revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses and capital expenditures. Providing strategic support to the Regional and Country Head with in-depth analysis on business opportunities, business planning, as well as strategic planning in deployment and/or investments. Initiate and maintaining a minimal monthly review process with regional and country management and his team, including the publishing of monthly reports to key stakeholders and involves in challenging assumptions to facilitate team decision-making.
Lead budgeting process, cost rollup and quarterly forecasting in terms of raw material cost review, reviewing relevant cost center spending as well as system processing for budgeting.
Review current internal controls and suggest process improvements to strengthen the control processes.
Involve in ad-hoc projects corporate’s initiatives and project management.
Help business to identify potential improvement area(s) of daily system e.g. SAP/ operation process, drive both effective and efficiency on continuous process improvement including digitalization transformation as deemed fit.
Coordinate stock count process by ensuring standard procedures are compliance and controls are in place.
Development of direct reports including goals, objectives, job rotation, succession planning & performance reviews.
Provide leadership to the Finance team.
Jobs Requirement:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting/ Professional certification (Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant) is necessary.
Minimum 15 years of direct experience in an accounting, finance and treasury role in MNCs manufacturing environment.
