Finance Manager (Multiple Entity)

Detail & Remuneration:

• Location: Kranji
• Salary: Up to $6,500, with AWS and Variable Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports for the Group and all entities to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, collections, and vendor payments, including monthly vendor reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of all transactions.
• Oversee daily banking activities to support smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and submission of GST and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate and manage internal and statutory audits, working with external auditors to ensure a timely and efficient audit process.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team skills and performance.
• Identify and recommend areas for process improvement within finance and accounting functions.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a professional accounting certification is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a financial control role, preferably within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction industry.
• Experience supervising a team of about 2 to 3 members is ideal.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
