Finance Manager (Costing, West)

About the Company

Our client is a dynamic manufacturing firm who primarily does product development and distribution across regional markets. They are seeking a Finance Manager with costing experience to join their cohesive team.

About the Job

Reporting to the Financial Controller and supported by a team of six, you will be responsible for cost analysis, including the review of manufacturing costs such as labor, overheads, and materials. You will also partner closely with the operations team to drive profitability. In addition, you will be hands-on in preparing management reports - including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and take on a reviewer role to ensure timely and accurate statutory reporting.

Skills and Experience Required

You should ideally come with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA, ACCA or its equivalent. You should have solid understanding and experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. You will be a self-starter and a team player who thrives in driving processes.
