Finance Manager (Bank/MAS Reporting) ($8K)

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare internal management report such as daily monitoring and report calculation, daily regulatory data base calculation.
2. Prepare Head Office reports and schedules required by Head Office auditors.
3. Prepare MAS regulatory reports, such as MAS 610, MAS 649, MAS 758, MAS 640, etc, and respond to the inquiries related to MAS reports.
4. Communicate with the company's tax agent, provide relevant tax information, and verify the tax agent's submitted data to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings.
5. Communicate with external auditors, provide the necessary data for the audit, and ensure the company's annual report is properly disclosed.
6. Process staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses.
7. Prepare accounting schedules such as Fixed Assets Register and Listing.
8. Prepare and post Journal Entries.
9. Provide other administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

1. Degree in accountancy or related accounting qualifications.
2. 5 years of relevant accounting experience in banks.
3. Basic understanding of financial products and services.
4. Proficient in MS Excel is essential as the incumbent needs to harness data on a daily basis.
5. Meticulous with attention to detail.
6. A good team player with a positive attitude.
7. Self-driven with a keen interest and willingness to learn.
