Finance Manager (Automotive)

• Ensure compliance with Groups policies and relevant laws/ regulations in respect of financial matters and contribute positively to the companies profitability and return on investment by exercising effective cost control measures and asset management.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate financial and management accounting functions.
• Ensure that accounting for monthly/quarterly/yearly closing are completed on time and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Review accounts reconciliations and schedules.
• Review and approve payments and other banking applications.
• Oversee annual audit and annual statutory accounts.
• Perform GST and tax computations and filing.
• Continuously review internal control processes for effectiveness and relevance, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure capital expenditure requests are within budget.
• Provide advice, guidelines, and instructions to shared services centre and review their performance according to Service Level Agreement.
• Support Reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts.
• Manage cashflow and foreign exchange.
• Review and co-ordinate insurance coverage of companies assets.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology team on user acceptance tests for new programs, automation to improve work processes, parameters and interface set-ups, etc.

Requirements

• University degree or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 6-8 years of working experience in finance & accounting.
• Audit and Automotive experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge in areas of accounting, taxation, finance, and commercial law.
• Strong Excel skills, business acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
