Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our finance team, oversee full sets of accounts, and manage financial portfolios exceeding $20 million. This role requires strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, as well as the ability to prepare accurate schedules and support audits.
Key Responsibilities:
(1) Accounting & Reporting:
Manage and maintain full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, etc.).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain and review financial schedules (e.g., accruals, prepayments, depreciation, loan schedules, etc.).
Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
(2) Financial Management:
Manage and monitor a financial portfolio of $20 million and above.
Provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
Handle treasury operations, including banking, investment, and loan administration.
(3) Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
Lead the preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
Implement and monitor internal controls and financial policies.
(4) Team Leadership:
Supervise and develop a team of finance/accounting staff.
Ensure continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience managing full sets of accounts and handling portfolios of $20M+.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, AutoCount, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in Manufacturing Industry
