FINANCE MANAGER

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions within the company. This role involves managing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems, procedures, and policies to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.

The Finance Manager will compile, analyze, and report on financial data while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the company, government entities, clients, and external CPA auditors, facilitating the provision of necessary information and ensuring the proper maintenance of financial records. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization's financial practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervise and audit the work of accounting staff to develop, implement, and maintain generally accepted accounting systems and procedures.
• Oversee core accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), time billing, Payroll (P/R), General Ledger (G/L), tax payments, and inventory control.
• Monitor and review records related to assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external auditors for annual financial.
• Perform essential accounting tasks such as financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, inventory roll-forwards, fixed asset tracking, and margin analysis. Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
• Communicate with customers regarding past-due invoices, providing regular updates to management on outstanding accounts.
• Ensure all active projects are supported by valid, legally binding contracts.
• Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions while preparing quarterly reports for management.
• Conduct monthly operational analysis to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
