Finance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple entities across various regions, including Singapore, the Cayman Islands, and the British Virgin Islands (BVI). This role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing basic tax planning support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and regulatory requirements in diverse jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations for multiple entities across different regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation.
• Consolidate financial statements for multiple entities within the group.
• Prepare and review financial reports for senior management, highlighting key financial performance indicators, variances, and insights.
• Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and any other relevant regional tax requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and tax planning strategies to optimize the group's overall tax position across jurisdictions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local accounting standards for all entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for audits and other regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions and improvements.
• Support the financial due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, or other business initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations across regions such as Singapore, the Cayman Islands, and BVI.
• Proven experience managing accounting functions for multiple entities and ensuring compliance with complex regulations.
• Proven experience in financial statement consolidation for multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations, adjustments, and reporting for the group as a whole.
• Strong knowledge of tax planning, corporate tax compliance, and relevant financial regulations in international jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP system and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and tax consultants.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese to communicate with stakeholders whose native language is Chinese, ensuring effective business operations.
• Experience with multinational corporations or firms with operations in multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of specific financial reporting requirements in the Cayman Islands and BVI is a plus.
• Familiarity with management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for private equity or investment management entities.
