Job description

  1. Lead an entity accounting team on day-to-day activities including timely accurate financial closing and tax calculation.

  2. Prepare quarterly financial reports, such as managing project accounting, revenue recognition, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts.

  3. Ensure accurate and updated reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts quarterly.

  4. Manage and liaise with Auditors and Tax agents.

  5. Prepare for GST submissions and Statutory Statistical returns.

  6. Assist the Finance Controller in communicating and coordinating the Finance Department with internal and external matters.

  7. Manage relationships with banks and other institutions.

  8. Assist other departments in handling bidding, comprehensive work, etc.

  9. To perform any other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

  1. Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications.

  2. At least 10 years of working experience in accounting/finance.

  3. Preferably in construction or engineering services industry with exposure in Big 4 accounting firms.

  4. Knowledge in accounting standards, project accounting, and financial reporting.

  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  6. We seek Chinese-speaking candidates who are required to report to Chinese-speaking Stakeholders/ Clients.
