Finance Manager

* Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 6pm

* Location: East Coast

* Basic + AWS + VB

* Permanent role

Our client is a social club providing hotel and sporting activities to premier members only in Singapore.

Objective:

• You will be assisting the Director of Finance in managing the financial health and sustainability of the Club; all accounting, financial and payroll related issues, including but not limited to statutory and management reporting requirements, audit and control.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Finance in planning, organizing, and executing financial tasks and projects of the Club.
• Lead and mentor the Finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Review and evaluate financial statements, reports, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
• Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
• Manage year-end audit process, impairment assessment, and attend to audit queries.
• Ensure year-end closing of books for Jan 2025, external audit, and issuance of annual report.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in finance and accounting or related fields.
• ACCA or CPA Singapore equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Finance Manager.
• Meticulous and analytical with data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proactive team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
