Finance Manager

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Support management decision-making with in-depth analyses.
2. Partner with other department leads in cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and projects.
3. Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
4. Manage the daily operations of the finance department.
5. Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.
6. Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
7. Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
8. Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.
9. Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
10. Liaise with external bankers, auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial service providers.
11. Establish and ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
12. Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for corrections or improvements.
13. Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Degree in Accountancy, or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA).
2. More than 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
3. Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel.
4. Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
5. Good problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.
6. Team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
8. Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/healthcare industry will be an advantage.
