Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager to assist the Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. He/She will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage monthly GL closing process including AR, AP, and FA closing for a Group of companies.
2. Review of P&L and Balance Sheet schedule.
3. Supervise a team of accounting and finance personnel.
4. Manage inventory reconciliation and review monthly GTO report.
5. Oversee IFRS 116 Lease accounting.
6. Manage bank reconciliation.
7. Manage Income tax, GST, and other tax reporting required by IRAS.
8. Manage internal control process (Inventory/AP/AR/FA, etc).
9. Assist Financial Controller in preparation of monthly reporting, cash flow, and analysis work.
10. Liaise with IT team to improve existing processes, reporting functions within accounting and operational systems.
11. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, best practices, and local government regulations.
12. Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems.
13. Take a pro-active approach to identify opportunities to implement process improvement in the full financial process.

Requirements:

1. At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / ACCA.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience, 2 years of which at managerial level.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
4. Experience in using Netsuite and CRM preferred but not required.
5. Positive attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential.
6. Independent worker, resourceful, able to work in a team and show initiative.
7. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
