We are a multi-award winning and well-recognized regional exclusive distributor for the Melissa and several other brands of fashion footwear in Singapore, Malaysia and India since 2011. We are led by a leadership team comprising highly-experienced MNC professionals with proven results in fashion and lifestyle industries. We are on a high growth track and our goal is to be a Singapore-born billion dollar brand owner and retailer of premium fashion footwear brands in South-East Asia and beyond.

Role Description

This is a critical leadership position reporting directly to and mentored by the Managing Director. This role encompasses all aspects of corporate financial management for the Enviably Me Group of Companies and is also part of the core leadership team that will provide support and advice to the MD on mid and long-term direction of the business. Responsibilities include Financial Analysis, Banking Facility and Relationship Management, Treasury/Cash Flow Management, Accounting/Internal Controls/Due Diligence, Business Cost Management, and Corporate Structure. The work and company environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, covering both commercial and back of house aspects of the business. The right candidate will be groomed to the Financial Controller position.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis: Support the MD and commercial team in ensuring that our core business activities are on strong financial footing. This will include financial analysis work on retail sales, boutique shops, major promotions, new brands, or new businesses.
2. Banking Facilities/Relationship: Manage multiple banking facilities and corresponding relationships with our panel of banks.
3. Treasury/Cash Flow: We are a cash flow intensive business. Managing this well is critical to funding our business growth.
4. Accounting/Internal Controls/Due Diligence: Work with external accountants on bookkeeping and establish clear SOPs on internal controls. Also required to perform financial due diligence work when we take on new suppliers, new brands, and new retail partners or distributors.
5. Corporate Structure: Advise and aid the MD to implement the right corporate structure for a fast-growing business and organization.
6. Overall owner of the company’s Oracle Netsuite / Odoo Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) systems and processes.

Role Requirements

1. 5-10 years proven and relevant experience in the above areas of financial expertise.
2. Strong people, interpersonal, and leadership skills are highly important for candidates to be successful in this position.
3. Absolute personal integrity and proven ability to handle highly sensitive information in a mature manner and in full compliance with confidentiality requirements.
4. This is a senior leadership role, and candidates are expected to continually adapt existing technical and domain knowledge and experience to new business approaches.

Compensation & Benefits

1. Salaries (monthly from $6000.00 onwards) will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
