Finance executive / work

Our esteemed client, an established company, is searching for a Finance Executive (GL) role:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage General Ledger (GL), Fixed Asset, and Inventory functions.
2. Prepare and post journal entries during month-end financial close.
3. Conduct variance and trend analysis at the entity level to support financial insights.
4. Oversee month-end and yearly financial closings, as well as quarterly reporting activities.
5. Liaise with various departments to address and resolve operational issues.
6. Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules.
7. Complete quarterly GST submissions and respond to inquiries from external bodies.
8. Support the annual budgeting process.
9. Handle audit and tax-related matters for the entity.
10. Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by the GL Accountant.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
2. At least 1-3 years of relevant experience, with a solid understanding of full-set accounts.
3. Proficiency in MS applications, including Word, Excel (pivot tables, vlookup), and PowerPoint.
4. Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail, coupled with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
5. Effective communication skills for presenting financial data clearly and concisely.

Additional Information:

1. Working Location: Tuas
2. Working Hours: 5 days, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm (WFH 2 Days Available)
3. Salary: Basic Up to $4,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus
