Position: Finance Executive (Japanese speaking) - CK

Location: West

Responsibilities:

1. To compile and submit budgets and forecasts for the Asia Pacific business in cooperation with the relevant departments. Also, to compile and submit monthly performance results.
2. To analyze sales and costs, including capital efficiency, such as ROIC, and appropriate levels of inventory and fixed assets. Identify causes of variances and problems, report results to the supervisor and management, and encourage improvements.
3. Periodic reporting to the head office in Japan.
4. Manage companies including the Singapore company and subsidiaries in Southeast Asia managed by the holding company (Singapore).
5. To compute and derive the value of investment using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
6. To perform cash flow planning.
7. To manage and train subordinates.
8. To respond to external inquiries (e.g., auditors, banks, etc.).
9. Knowledge of SOX will be an added value.
10. To manage transfer pricing arrangements.
11. This position plays an important role in the finance department, championing process improvement initiatives.
12. To lead, motivate, and develop the finance team.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in finance, accounting, or related field.
2. Proficiency in management accounting principles and practices.
3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Able to work independently and under pressure.
5. Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
6. Good communication skills and an effective team member with a cooperative attitude.
7. Possess a positive attitude to work.
8. Knowledge of the Japanese language (written and spoken) is essential to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
