The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Finance Executive to join our team. In this role, you will manage financial accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for handling invoices and processing payments. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a understanding of financial principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage payment processing, including scheduling, preparing payment batches, and ensuring timely disbursements via bank transfers.
- Perform supplier reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve invoice disputes promptly.
- Maintain proper accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process staff expense claims, verifying compliance with internal control policies and statutory guidelines.
- Liaise with vendors, internal departments, and external stakeholders to address payment inquiries and disputes.
Accounts Receivable (AR) – Singapore & Australia
- Prepare and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments, ensuring timely collections.
- Perform AR reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve customer disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables, aging reports, and customer accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes.
Other Financial & Reporting Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely month-end closing and financial reporting to management.
- Handle intercompany transactions, including invoice postings and reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in accordance with Singapore’s tax regulations.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience handling full sets of accounts preferred.
- Strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Familiarity with Singapore’s and Australia’s accounting regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Xero is advantageous.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, self-motivated team player who can work independently.
