Finance Executive

Job Description

1. Perform full spectrum of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties;
2. AP function which includes data entry of supplier invoices, process payments and suppliers reconciliation;
3. AR function include data entry of all receipts;
4. Maintain petty cash float and reimbursement of staff claims;
5. Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules;
6. Preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditor during annual audit;
7. Prepare monthly journal entries for accruals, deferred income, depreciation etc, ensuring all transactions are properly supported with documentation;
8. Assist with performing month-end and year-end accounts closing activities;
9. Assist walk-in Cash Donation;
10. Maintenance of fixed assets register, performance of sighting, asset tagging and updating of fixed assets promptly;
11. Coordinate the local cheque and cash bank-in process on weekly or bi-monthly;
12. Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent;
2. At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance;
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles;
4. Ability to work independently with high degree of accuracy and efficiency;
5. Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
6. Must be initiative, multi-tasking, hardworking and meets tight deadlines;
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
8. Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Xero would be an advantage;
9. Good interpersonal, communication and ability to work under pressure;
10. Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred;
11. Immediate availability is preferred;
12. Singaporean and candidates with full working rights for Singapore.
