Job Description
You will be responsible for preparation and consolidating financial reports from all subsidiaries, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. You need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be detail-oriented, and be able to work in a team environment
Responsibilities:
● Assist with the preparation of financial statements of the Group including checking of the subsidiaries reporting pack
● Prepare journal entries for specific accounts for the Company
● Prepare the group notes
● Prepare the financial reporting requirement by corporate financial controller
● Support month-end and year-end closing activities
● Handle claim from overseas representatives
● Assist in the preparation of audited reports and annual report
● GST preparation and submission for Singapore GST-registered subsidiaries
● Prepare and maintain monthly exchange rates in the accounting system.
● Collaborate with other members of the finance team & the subsidiaries team to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting
● Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed
Requirements:
● Diploma / Bachelor in Accounting
● 3 years of experience in accounts or a similar role
● Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
● Familiarity with accounting software and systems
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
● Good communication skills, both written and verbal
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
● Knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting
