Finance Executive
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices and relevant accounting records
- Follow up on collection
- Manage receipts process and relevant accounting records
- Report AR status
- Issue monthly intercompany invoices
Account Payables:
- Review staff claims and process claims payment
- Record bills for invoices received
- Prepare bank instructions and raise bill payment records
- Record monthly intercompany invoices received
- Create Purchase Orders for Purchase Requisitions raised (when needed)
Insurances:
- Purchase fee insurances, maintain related records, and reporting
- Process and support other insurance claims
Taxation:
- Prepare GST amendments and audit
- Prepare withholding tax filings
Finance Closing & Projects:
- Prepare bank reconciliation and other balance sheet account schedules
- Support Finance Manager on month-end closing reporting process
- Participate in annual audits
- Perform fixed asset tagging and annual counts exercise
- Support other regulatory compliance reports
Procurement (Cover):
- Process purchase requests
- Accept and sort deliveries
- Deliver items to requestors
Perform other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar function
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & NetSuite Oracle
- Advanced MS Excel skills
